The Lively Bees and Their Contemporaries

“The Lively Bees & Their Contemporaries: Invertebrates of Southeastern Arizona” – A collection of color photography by George Rosberg

August 19, 2011 to September 14, 2011

Ranch House Art Gallery – Agua Caliente Park, Tucson, AZ

Hours: Tuesdays – Saturdays, 9am to 2pm

Please come take a look at my  large collection of images featuring colorful bees, butterflies, dragonflies, beetles and more.   Many people don’t even notice some of our smallest community members unless ….they’re scared of them.  But my friends and I have been searching Tucson and surrounding areas for a few years looking for colorful and interesting insects and other fascinating animals.  I’ve tried hard to catch images of them working, sleeping even …. reproducing.

I will be there on Saturdays to chat about the photos and answer any questions.  Many of the subjects were actually photographed AT Agua Caliente so I suggest you take a look at the photos, then go searching around the ponds and cattails for damselflies and bees yourselves.

Please contact me to talk about the show at george@georgetterosberg.com !

Thanks,

George

  1. Oh, Gigi, I missed it! I thought that it was through the end of the month. Will you be showing again? Tracey
